About Plane
§ 02A plane is a flat, two-dimensional surface that extends infinitely in all directions. In geometry, a plane can be defined by a point and a normal vector, or by three non-collinear points. The concept of a plane is fundamental in geometry and is used extensively in mathematics, physics, and engineering. In Hebrew, the word for "plane" is מישור (pronounced: meeshur). In other languages, it is known as plano in Spanish, plan in French, Ebene in German, and piano in Italian. The term "plane" can also refer to an aeroplane, a powered flying vehicle with fixed wings, which is derived from the Latin word planus, meaning "flat, level, or plane." This usage is distinct from the geometric definition and is often context-dependent.
