About Sagittarius

§ 02

Sagittarius is the ninth astrological sign in the zodiac, originating from the constellation of Sagittarius. It is associated with the constellation's mythological representation as a centaur, a hybrid of human and horse. In Western astrology, the sun is in the sign of Sagittarius roughly between November 23 and December 21 each year. In Hebrew, Sagittarius is known as קשת (Keshet), which translates to "bow" or "archer." In Latin, it is called Sagittarius, and in Greek, it is referred to as Τοξότης (Toxotēs). Individuals born under this sign are often described as optimistic, adventurous, and independent. Sagittarius is a fire sign and is one of the four mutable signs, along with Gemini, Virgo, and Pisces. The symbol for Sagittarius is an arrow pointing upwards from a bow, representing the archer's aim and pursuit of knowledge and exploration.
